Yes, when the repair is done correctly, and that's the whole point of choosing carefully. We transfer your original TrueDepth sensor assembly to the new display so Face ID keeps working, and we program the panel so True Tone is retained wherever the model allows it. Face ID failures after screen swaps are almost always caused by rushed prying near the sensor flex; our process is built to avoid exactly that.
On newer iPhones, iOS may show an 'Unknown Part' note in Settings for non-Apple-fitted parts, even genuine ones. It doesn't affect performance, warranty with us, or any feature beyond the label itself. We explain exactly what your model will show before you approve the estimate, so nothing in Settings surprises you later.
Hardware repairs don't touch your data, and your passcode stays with you, Face ID/Touch ID repairs and display swaps are done with the device locked. For water damage or risky board work we recommend (and help with) an iCloud or computer backup first. We never ask for your Apple ID password; account actions happen on your hands, not ours.
